Podcast Episode 15 – Dropping the Megadeus

“Cast in the name of God, Ye not guilty.

~ Kazuyoshi Katayama ‘The Big O”

I’m looking forward to seeing the types of Google searches that will bring people to this page. This episode was originally intended to be part of Mech Month, however, due to a plethora of projects and time constraints of the Holiday Season I was unable to to include it – but that’s a good thing. What we have instead is a full hour of full-voiced mecha explanation, giving us the history and answering our questions about the Big O; I of course am referring to my friend, Casey. So cast in the name of God, and find if ye be guilty! It’s showtime!

– Big O-

Casey Mitchem

Co-Host of SOS, Space Opera Satellite, you might also know him from the horror podcast, Bloodbath and Beyond. On Twitter, he is currently running through One Piece, giving us a breakdown both from a historical perspective, as well as what inspired Oda – highly suggested for both megafans and newcomers alike. Follow him on Twitter, you may know him as MinovskyArticle, he is well deserving of your attention.

Podcasting is one of those magic tools, one that builds friendships. And after recording stopped, Casey and I had a blast – I’m thankful for that. But mecha is only one hat that Casey wears, and I already have plans to collaborate with him again. Again, I’m glad this was not part of mech month, we would have missed out on the wonderful G-Gundam conversation at the end!
